    On-Line Co-Op in Halo

Can you guys imagine playing a on-line level in Co-Op, I can, lolo

Imagine this: a bunch of human grunts and…Sarge ;)

    Cinematic intro:

    Sarge –

“Ok grunts, you have the privilege to be the first in this Halo to show those covenant bastards a taste of human PR.

    So lets be reeeeeal friendly….

    Now move out.”

After that a pelican would transport your team to the drop point, and you and a bunch others players would start to conquer the level. Of course being grunts, we would have no shields…so it would not be very easy to take out elites or brutes. But that would be the fun part of the co-op….the part were you keep trying ;)

In relation to spawning factor, I believe that when a player was killed he should wait until the team would get to a predetermine point were the team could receive reinforcements. This way the players that were killed (or just trying to get in the server) could enter the game in more realistic way, namely has a bunch of soldiers dropping from a pelican ;)

Honestly, I believe that Microsoft could give the community an update for H2Vista with Co-Op. The community with love it.

After all watt player would not like to get in a game in Co-Op, push a key in the keyboard and earring his grunt say:

“Camon you covenant bastards, I can take all of you with a hand tide behind my back…haaaa… Who’s taking point?”

    ;p

You won't have to imagine it, there's 4 player Co-op over Lan or Xbox Live in Halo 3.

Nebulous did you read the post? I talking about HALO 2 VISTA PATCH/UPDATE, I know that there will be Co-Op in Halo 3. The announcement was made in 31 of July, but my post was about making Co-Op possible for Halo 2 Vista because in the Gears of War port to PC they are gona make it possible to play the single-player campaigns on-line in Co-Op mode. Ok? Did you got it?

Next time dud.. read the post before you reply to it ..Hmm [^o)]

    Re: On-Line Co-Op in Halo

Yes I read it, and I fail to see how my post is any less relevent, Halo 3 will be the only Halo game with an online Co-op mode.  Halo 2 Vista will not be given an online Co-op mode, they haven't even released a bug fix yet so what makes you think that they'll ever write Co-op into the game.

Gears of War is a completely different game, still in production I might add, by a different company with different goals.  Just because they have it doesn't mean H2V can have it, not with Hired Gun calling the shots atleast.

Hey dragonlord. Good idea. But i think that the normal multiplayer can be just as good as somthing like the co-op your thinking of, if we play more as a team and introduce some more stradegy...instead playing as individuals.

    Please everyone, consider this idea---

We could have longer respawn times depending on how long you live for and make variants where theres a "reinforcemet" system like you were talking about when all the players waiting to respawn re-enter at a certain time and place.

Surprise [:O]OMG...BIG IDEA...What if there were Netural AI units in the multiplayer maps, that ran around in little groups, trying to exterminate the humans? Now it might take away the "multiplayer feel" of the game but it will make it more like the Co-op Dragonlord was thinkin of.

    Dont ya think??

    Re: On-Line Co-Op in Halo

Yhea, that’s a good idea for Halo 2, but its already been done in maps made by fans in Halo CE (its maps with “guardians” bots), not much novelty there. Just hope that when they release Halo 3 for PC we will have a decent keyboard and mouse control (just like in Halo), otherwise I will feel more inclined to shoot my Co-Op companions then the Covenant troops…lolo

    Re: On-Line Co-Op in Halo

This is possible for H2V. there are problems, with syncing. the Ai doesn't 100% sync, Scripts, music and dialog don't sync. The Ai in Halo 2 is much better than Halo 1/CE where the host and client don't sync at all.
    It's been done on Halo 2 for Xbox Halo 2 : Co-op
The maps work the same way so it can be done for H2V.
btw, 16 players can play co-op, just thought I'd say this, because many people still don't know.

H2V will get better with Gravemind

Only modders can hope to repair the *** M$ caused, HiredGun wanted to make it better.

so what we need to make this happen.
    - Modding program
      -Tag Transfer extractor & Injector

    - Yelo Trainer
    to enable AI in multiplayer
