    Re: Please Help!!

??!! Why on earth are you reinstalling Vista every two months? That's inexcusable, i've had Vista installed on my Laptop for 18 months and never needed to reinstall. You must be mucking up your setups SO badly to need to do that. Or you're pirating, which is even worse. In either case, you brought this upon yourself. I'd try ringing the MS helpline number which is in the manual, for your country. Explain to them you've had to reinstall Vista quite a few times, give them your current code and they may, if kind, give you a fresh new one, i know someone who had to do that and was successful.

    But seriously...every two months? *facepalm*

    Re: Please Help!!

Some people do it to keep their computer at tip-top performance, though I find every 6 months to be more common.

Yea it's true that you can keep Vista installed for years... but some people just collect clutter.

    Re: Please Help!!

Or you could learn how to houseclean your computer regularly like any normal person, instead of going the long way round and having to completely reinstall... O_o

But the point still stands, if you do that you will get CDKEY issues with your software. Ring the technical support line for your country and i'd probably not tell them the entire truth. They'll think you're a nutcase just like I do XP Best tell them you've had frequent Hard Drive failures and had to keep reinstalling everything. You might get a new key that way.
