Halo On Windows Vista

I had preordered from Best Buy and here is the update they just sent me.

Why can't someone just step up and tell us what the heck is going on.  If they aren't sure of a release date, then stop throwing darts at the dart board.

That sucks.  If you haven't already, I advise that you go up to your local Circuit City--if you have one--and check to see if they have any copies on their shelves.  I found my copy there today.

Walmart, Kmart maybe too, etc.

I just sent a complaint to Best Buy asking why they keep pushing back the date when everybody else is selling it.... I can imagine the reply... Your better off going to Circuit City right now and buying it

Yea the recall is bull. Never heard a lick about it at Walmart, there's no reason TO recall the game (patch it, definitely), and the source is a semi-anonymus email sent to Halo.Bungie.Org.

Yeah, I didn't hear about any recall either, I have my copy preordered from Gamestop and I called today to make sure they would have it tomorrow and the guy who answered the phone said that according to their information they should be getting it tomorrow.

The guy you talked to probably hadn't checked his info, because even their website says May 31st.  Either that or he is getting it in tommorow but can't put it out til the 31st, which does happen.  Crackdown, for instance, was recieved  by Gamestop almost a week before the release date.

Gamestop better have my copy of Halo 2 tomorrow. I am going to call them first thing in the morning and ask them again whether they are going to get it in, and if they have any doubts I will just go down to Circuit City and see if they have any copies. I swear, I will get a copy of this game tomorrow.

Official US release date was 5/22.  I'm not sure why some stores are saying 6/1.  I'm hearing this a lot...

Ok, I got a copy of Halo 2 now. I got it from Circuit City. They had 2 copies.

According to Microsoft's Life Cycle Support page, Halo 2 for Windows Vista doesn't come out until July 4, 2007.
