cannot install halo 2

i can't install halo 2 on my computer ASUS A7SV the installshield disapear after i click on "continue" and i search in event viewer and there is a problem with the file "activate.exe" please help me i've change computer to play that game.

I'm too. I am running vista64 home premium, 4GB mem, 3870 display, cpu: 6600. can Halo run on vista 64?
