Well, considering the team that originally developed the game a couple years ago left to do another project, they pretty much dropped support completely for this game.
The best thing you can do is contact MS directly and see if they can possibly do something about it.
Look at the first Halo, a few months back, somebody from Bungie released another patch for the PC version of the game even though the game isn't supported anymore and is about 6 years old now. I wouldn't contact Bungie about this game though considering they had no part in making it. See if MS can do anything about it, highly unlikely though unless a good amount of people can contact them.
