Halo On Windows Vista

   Whenever I try to sign into Live with Halo 2, the game crashes. I have tried everything, I know I can sign in on the website, and even my dad can use Live on his laptop. I'v rebought the game and it still doesn't work.

 

Any suggestions would be nice :)

If it's Live causing you the grief, then it's not Halo 2 itself that's at fault, its your install of GFW Live. To reinstall that, go to Default Programs, and Programs and Features. Then find "Microsoft GFW-Live Redistributible" on the programs list, and uninstall that. Then go on the games for windows official website, and download the latest version of the GFW-Live. This should solve your issues signing in. There is a download of the GFW-Live client on www.halo2.com as well, in the Support section. Happy gaming :)

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunatly, this doesn't seem to work.

Hrm...have you checked that any security software installed on the PC isn't blocking Live's connection to the Internet? Also you may wish to check that, although it sounds peculiar, your graphics drivers are right up to date. Sometimes it's the drivers that, when a game does something specifically, crash the app.
