Halo 2 supported on my computer ?

I can, normally and without any problem, play Halo 1 on my compuer. Just the warnign that says that the video memory that i had is 64 and 128 is required.

My graphics card support a maximun 250 MB and i have it configured to use 128. Analizing my grafics card i saw that the only problem is that i dont have the T&L (Transform & Lighting) hardware.

Well.... what ever. What matter in here, is that my computer can run Halo 1.

Would my computer support Halo 2 ?

    -Windows Vista, Home Premium 32bits

    -Intel Pentium dual-core Procesor T2080 (1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache)

-Intel Graphics Media Accelerator GMA 950 (fully up to date) [System video memory: 64MB, Sahred System Memory: 192MB, Total available Graphics Memory: 256MB ]

    -2 GB DDR2 RAM

-Free Space in HDD over 70 GB

    Thanks in advance.

Re: Halo 2 supported on my computer ?

Unfortunately there are two things about your graphics card that will prevent Halo 2 from running at all. Firstly, the lack of hardware TnL will prevent Halo 2 from loading, as the game now requires that as a standard feature, rather than a "nice to have", due to the extensively increased amount of lighting and shading in Halo 2. Also, your graphics chip has no dedicated video memory, which would cause severe performance difficulties with Halo 2 due to the increased visual fidelity.

Sorry for the bad news, but your laptop there will not run Halo 2 Vista. Like many, you have been gimped by an older Intel graphics chip, whereas only the newer Intel graphics chips support TnL and have improved graphics performance.

I was a PC game only once, then I got a 360, and i've loved it ever since.
