    I'm considering purchasing this game due to the fact that this website: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/halo2/tech_info.html says that there is 4 player spit screen available offline. I don't play online and am not interesting in buying this if there is no split screen. so it gamespot wrong like some people are saying or not?

    As far as I know there is no Split-Screen option in Halo 2 Vista. It may be hidden in the code or something, but it's not featured. Try sticking to the Xbox version as it is for sure known to have it. You can set up a LAN on Halo 2 Vista and have your own little party if you have enough computers (1 per person) and disc (1 per 2 computers).
