Halo On Windows Vista

Simple, do people still play online with this game?

i have also been wondering tthis, i was thinking of buying it but idk

Yea, there is an online community still. Bolstered somewhat by an influx from the now defunct XBox Halo 2 MP and further by the games availability in most places now for $10-20 :) Glad to see MS at least still stock the game well, looking at Amazon.

I still jump in once in a while to blast away at other players, I have played Halo 2 on the PC never the console, and I was surprised to hear the console was dumped.

On any given night there is 3 or 4 servers maxed out. There are also clans that play. A bunch of ppl picked this up to play on Windows 7 it seems. There is a group of 4 guys that I play with. This game still rocks!!

When I get a list of servers, not often, then I play slayer mostly.
Most have given up on Vista and moved to Windows 7 which is much better.

I still play online. And I don't get why people hated Vista so much. There was nothing wrong with it. It just got bad press and since everyone believes everything the media says, they automatically agree with the news. The truth is, Windows 7 is almost the same as Windows Vista except for a few graphical changes. And even those graphical changes aren't much different. Under the hood, at the core of Windows 7 is Windows Vista. Whatever is new in Windows 7 can easily be added into Windows Vista through a service pack or platform update. Even without a service pack, Windows 7 exclusive programs can easily be copied and pasted into Windows Vista (like Windows Media Player 12) and run flawlessly. That's further proof that Windows 7 is just Windows Vista.

I have windows vista and play it all the time. There are always lots of people on when ever I log on to play. I have never had a problem playing halo with vista. I strongly recomend buying it.............just remember...kill responsably

So, I was wondering if you NEED Vista, or can you still play Halo on Windows 7, do I needa buy a different game or like patch it so it can? I just wanna play some good old Halo 2 man.

It works on 7 AND vista.

Halo 2 does not like NVIDIA cards very well. I have to manually reset the video each time I play the game.
