    HALO INITIALIZATION ERROR!!!

okay, i install Halo 2 on my Windows Vista Home Premium and it installs like it should but at the very end of completion it says the following message:

"Initialization failed. either insufficient system resources were found to run the game, or game data is missing or damaged. Reinstalling the game may fix this problem"

So, i uninstall Halo 2, reboot and try again but same error. I have checked the minimum system requirements and all is good, but still the message keeps coming up.

    PLEASE HELP URGENTLY

    thanks in advance

    Got the same problem.
Try installing the latest Halo 2 update and the latest Games for Windows LIVE update.
The Updates are on microsofts Halo2 homepage

    Re: HALO INITIALIZATION ERROR!!!

    still no improvement :(

by the way, i just clicked the updates and they downloaded it themselves. The only thing i needed to do manually was the windows LIVE LATEST UPDATE update.

Am i meant to do something else?
