  • Re: Halo 2 problem with Win 7

Well, considering the team that originally developed the game a couple years ago left to do another project, they pretty much dropped support completely for this game. The best thing you can do is contact MS directly and see if they can possibly do something about it. Look at the first Halo, a few months back, somebody from Bungie released ...

  • Re: Windows 7

If you've already activated Halo 2 three times already, you'll have to contact Microsoft and ask them if they'll give you another CD key.

No there isn't. You will have to contact Microsoft and ask them about it.

  • Re: would my laptop run halo 2

It is possible, yet on the lowest settings, maybe not even the lowest. Your graphics card is an integrated POS Intel card. You really do not want to expect to play many newer games that well with that Intel card. Your processor is fine though, it's just your graphics card that is the problem.

  • Re: Halo 2 dont connect to live

If it's attempting to download the Live update, visit the link provided alone to download the newest Live update. But, if it's attempting to download the Halo 2 patch, you'll have to visit the Halo 2 Vista main site to get the patch. http://www.microsoft.com/games/en-us/aboutGFW/pages/gfw3intro.aspx

  • Re: Run Halo 2 with these specs?

Your computer will not play Halo 2 very well, or not at all. The 5900 XT is a very old card, and your Athlon 2800+ does not help it either. You will not even get close to a playable experience similar to Halo 2 on the Xbox. Your best bet would just to play Halo 2 on your 360, or your Xbox.

  • Re: Having trouble sarting live

Sounds like you may have a corrupted file or two. I would attempt to reinstall Halo 2 and see if that does anything.

  • Re: No cd key

If it's not in the box, return it to the original store you bought it from. Besides, who would tell you to come on here and ask about it? Off-topic - Sure been a while since I've been here...

  • Re: Halo2 PC Video issues

It is his graphics card. It is a super low end integrated piece of junk. He can either A.) Turn everything down to low (But I'm 100% sure it will still lag) or B.) You can buy him a newer graphics card. May I suggest anything in the high Nvidia 8xxx or high 7xxx series. Or go for an ATI HD 3850, or a single slot 3870.

  • Re: Installation processor issues

Click start, run, and type in powercfg.cpl. A window should now pop-up, and then click High Performance.
