Microsoft specifically stated that any game with the Games for Windows logo on the box has widescreen support, out of the box. Well, this game has the GFW logo, but no widescreen support.Please include this in the first patch, as I have tried fooling with config files and modifying my shortcut to get my native monitor resolution (1440x900).

That sucks. If you haven't already, I advise that you go up to your local Circuit City--if you have one--and check to see if they have any copies on their shelves. I found my copy there today.

I can't believe this game doesn't support widescreen resolutions. Microsoft said that all games with the Games for Windows logo on them would support widescreen resolutions out of the box. Hopefully someone finds a fix for it before too long, or they release a patch.

EB Games is now saying May 25th for it's shipping date, which means it will be available in stores Saturday, May 26th. I don't remember any game being released on a Saturday.Since I can't post a link, just go to ebgames.com and go to the Halo 2 PC page.
