No it doesn't work. I don't think you need to be hooked up to the internet to play the campaign. You just need at least an xbox live silver account to log into, you don't need the internet to log in. but you do need the internet to activate/make a silver account.

NO, you must log in to at least a FREE xbox live silver account to even start the game up.

I have a 1360x768 HDTV and I ran the game just fine at 1280x720, I didn't have my computer scale the image so it just had black lines on the sides and top and bottom of the screen. Works fine using either VGA or DVI

Yes, it should work just fine on the 64bit version. Every game bearing the ''Games for Windows'' logo should work with both 32bit vista and 64bit vista.

Yep, I figured there was something wrong with your network connection. It wasn't giving you an IP address and it said your pc account wasn't signed in, which is a problem.

Check your video card drivers are up to date.

To play the campaign or online you must be logged into your LIVE account. It can either be the gold (paying account) or silver (free account). Then the main mode selection screen will appear giving you access to the campaign.

I assume you have an Xbox 360 controller and if so: make sure you have the most up to date controller driver downloaded from microsoft and setup your mic through the guide. its under personal settings and then under voice.

K well there is something wrong with your system cause the game runs perfectly for me. Silky smooth 60fps practically all the time. Both online and offline. Maxed settings at 1440x900 with 4xAA and 8xAF.

Sorry, but there is no such operating system as ''Windows EP''. If you mean Windows XP, then no you can't. Halo 2 VISTA is only playable using Windows Vista.
